Birthe Getzner

For Birthe Getzner, being a goldsmith is a calling: her training began in the jewelry class of an American high school in the 1980’s.

After her studies at the Vienna University of Technology and during a long and successful career in a completely different field, Birthe built up an extensive collection of modernist Scandinavian silver jewelry. But soon she felt the urge to produce her own jewelry and to follow her creative passion.

She completed her training at The Academy of Jewellery Crafts and Technology in Vienna. Birthe Getzner completed her basic training in 2012 with the journeyman's examination. The master craftsman examination followed in 2019.

Since 2011, Birthe has her own workshop in Vienna Döbling (Sievering) and welcomes you there.
